Capella Singapore launches ‘Capella Under the Stars’ Three Day New Year Promotion

New Year celebrations for guests at the Capella Singapore will include three days of gourmet cuisine and special entertainment all within a breathtaking setting with views over South China Sea.

The two-night Capella Under the Stars New Year Experience begins on Thursday 31st December 2009 with welcome champagne in the room on arrival for all guests. In the evening, a stylish New Year’s Eve party held at The Knolls poolside restaurant includes a five-course Mediterranean gourmet dinner, premium Champagne and full premium open bar. Live entertainment, dancing and late night snacks will be served at 2am for those still enjoying the celebrations.

The pool will be transformed into a floating stage for the evening’s al fresco entertainment including a guest performance from Karina Serbina, soprano from the world famous Bolshoi Theater in Moscow followed by DJ duo Brahms & Co from Paris to keep the celebrations going well into the night. DJs Brahms & Co’s original and classy musical performance incorporates soulful jazz, rare grooves, latin, lounge, electro and funky house music. Their style of dj wizardry has made them famous across the world from their regular nights at Buddha Bar in Paris to their work with fashion houses such as Dior and Gucci.

For the morning after, the Recovery Brunch on New Year’s Day at The Knolls provides all the essential hangover cures. Suite or manor guests can choose alternatively to have in-room breakfast for ultimate relaxation.

After a relaxing day, Capella will welcome guests to the ballroom for an evening fashion extravaganza complete with a four-course dinner. Fashion and theatre costume designer Josef Statkus will be showcasing his chic couture collection at Capella Singapore, with shoes provided by world famous designer Manolo Blahnik. Lithuanian Josef Statkus counts Naomi Watts, Kyra Sedgewick and Princess Mary of Denmark among his clients.

After dinner, Bob’s Bar heats up for the evening serving after dinner mojitos, champagne and specially imported Tsarskaya Vodka with DJs Brahms & Co back on the decks.

For the third and final day of celebrations on Saturday 2 January, the pace relaxes and guests are encouraged to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the hotel, enjoy the spectacular view and relax over the Grill & Chill barbecue lunch served at The Knolls.

The Capella Under the Stars New Year Experience includes two nights’ accommodation for two people, welcome champagne amenity, New Year’s Eve dinner and party, Recovery Brunch on New Year’s Day, New Year’s Day dinner and fashion show and Grill & Chill lunch on 2 January.
