Singapore Airlines
is to reduce its fuel surcharges for travellers in Business and Economy Class, across all routes, for tickets issued on or after
Friday 7 November 2008.
The reduction is the second time since September 2008 that Singapore Airlines has reduced fuel surcharges, in line with the recent sustained
fall in the price of jet fuel.
Besides the length of the journey, the surcharge levels will hereafter also take into account the class of travel. This is to
more fairly impute fuel related cost since the space occupied and weight utilised in each class is different.
The new surcharges that will apply from Friday 7 November are as follows:
