United Airlines
has appointed Mr Joe Mannix as General Manager - Thailand.
Mr Mannix is a United Airlines veteran with 36 years experience at the company. His previous experience in Asia includes terms in South Korea
and Vietnam, with his most recent role as Country Manager - Vietnam.
Mr Mannix
said, "I'm extremely proud to take up this leading role in Thailand, where United has been present since 1986. Our team here is
committed to delivering the best possible service to all our clients in Thailand, whether they travel for business, leisure or to study.”
United Airlines began scheduled services to Thailand in 1986. Today, United Airlines operates a daily flight to the U.S. from Bangkok’s
Suvarnabhumi International Airport via Tokyo Narita International Airport in Japan. From Tokyo, United has connections with flights to six U.S.
cities including Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Washington D.C., and
Honolulu. From United’s hubs in Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Washington D.C., passengers can reach hundreds of U.S. cities on United and United Express.
