Following the news that Zoom Airlines has suspended operations, Virgin Atlantic is offering stranded Zoom passengers special one way fares
on selected routes between London and the US.
Virgin Atlantic is offering Zoom ticket holders special one way fares in Economy
Class from London Heathrow to New York, Boston and Washington for 199; from London Heathrow to Miami and Chicago for 219; from London Gatwick to Orlando for 219; and from London Heathrow to Los
Angeles for 249. The fare includes all taxes and charges, is subject to availability and is bookable via the Virgin Atlantic contact centre or at
Virgin Atlantics airport ticket desks.
For journeys from New York, Boston or Washington to London Heathrow, Virgin Atlantic is offering passengers a special one way Economy
Class fare
of $299, from Miami and Chicago to London Heathrow for $349, from Orlando to London Gatwick for $349 and from Los Angeles to London
Heathrow for $399. The fare includes all taxes and charges, is subject to availability and can be booked through US reservations or at the airport
ticket desks.
Zoom ticket holders, stranded by the suspension of services, must be booked and ticketed on a Zoom flight departing between
before 30
September 2008 (inclusive) to qualify for these special fares.
These special fares are applicable for a One Way Economy Class journey only. Two
one way tickets (1 US$ and 1 GBP ticket) may be issued
to create a round trip.
Passengers with bookings on Zoom flights departing after 30 September 2008 are not eligible for this offer, however, passengers can purchase
normal Virgin Atlantic fares. Children aged between 2 and 11 years of age pay 75% of the base fares (excluding all applicable taxes and charges).
Infants aged up to 2 years of age not occupying a seat pay 10% of the base fares (excluding all applicable taxes and charges).
