Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong has launched an all-new and permanent attraction: SCREAM – Escape the Asylum!

Located next to the World Premiere section at Madame Tussauds, SCREAM is the first permanent scare attraction of its kind in Hong Kong.

Daring and brave guests must take a journey through a darkened asylum for the criminally insane, in which the inmates have broken free. Filled with dark corridors, intense gore and rampaging psychopaths, guests will have to try and escape the asylum, or potentially become permanent residents themselves.

“The Madame Tussauds scare attractions are designed to stir up people’s deepest and darkest fears through the use of live performers, state-of-the-art visual and sound effects: all set inside a chillingly authentic setting” said Bret Pidgeon, General Manager of Madame Tussauds Hong Kong and Shanghai.

First introduced at Madame Tussauds London in 2003 and known as The Chamber Live!, a Madame Tussauds’ scare attraction can also be found at Madame Tussauds New York, Amsterdam, Las Vegas and Shanghai, each of them are themed differently to the suit local flavour.

SCREAM opens from 10am to 10pm daily. Entry to the new attraction is included in the Madame Tussauds entry fee.
