China Southern Airlines
today increases its fuel surcharges on most international routes, in an
attempt to assist in offsetting the continuing surge in aircraft fuel prices.
The new one-way fuel surcharge will be 1,100 Chinese Yuan
(CNY) on routes between China and Africa, Australia, the USA, Europe and
the Middle East.
A one-way fuel surcharge of CNY 550 will apply on routes within the South Asia Subcontinent and between China and South Asia, East Asia and
Korea, while a one-way fuel surcharge of CNY 260 will apply between Guangzhou and Bangkok.
