KLM appoints new Senior Vice President - Corporate Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility

Ms. E.F. (Elfrieke) van Galen (45) has been appointed Senior Vice President - Corporate Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. The appointment is effective June 1, 2007.

Ms. van Galen has occupied a number of positions at KLM including that of Managing Director KLM cityhopper. She is currently already responsible for setting up the CSR program for KLM.

Ms. van Galen will take charge of Corporate Communications from Mr. P.Th.M. (Peter) Elbers, who leaves KLM on June 1, 2007.
