Bangkok Airways
is to increase its frequency on the Samui-Singapore route to daily beginning
18 April 2006. The airline last increased its frequency to six weekly in October 2005 and closed with an average 75% cabin factor by the
year end.
To better facilitate the traffic between Koh Samui and bustling Singapore, the airline is realizing its daily schedule by filling up a slot on Tuesdays. The airline uses 120-seat
Boeing 717-200 on this route.
The departure time from Samui is at 16.40
with the arrival in Singapore at 19.20. The return sector leaves Singapore is at 20.10
arriving in Samui at 20.50. After March 26th, the flight from Samui will leave at 16.30, while the arrival time in Singapore remains the same.
