Korean Air and Kenya Airways to launch Codeshare Flights this April

SkyTeam alliance member Korean Air and associate airline Kenya Airways are to begin a codeshare agreement effective 20 April 2006.

Korean Air is in the SkyTeam alliance, which also includes AeroMexico, Air France, Alitalia, Continental, CSA Czech, Delta, KLM and Northwest. Kenya Airways is a member of the alliance's Associate Program along with Air Europa, Copa, and Tarom.

The carriers will begin codeshare on the Incheon~Bangkok~Nairobi route. Passengers can use Korean Air between Incheon and Bangkok on flight KE651(KQ1651) and Kenya Airways between Bangkok and Nairobi on flight KQ230(KE5961).

Codeshare flights will be operated three times per week on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Flights will depart Incheon International Airport at 5:35 pm and arrive in Bangkok at 8:55 pm. The connecting flight will depart Bangkok at 11:10 pm and arrive the next day at 4:30 am.
