Ski Express has launched its 2006-2007 Northern Hemisphere ski programme, offering a huge range of holiday options in Japan, Canada and the
USA from 01 November 2006 until 30 April, 2007.
A 36-page brochure is now being distributed to travel agents throughout Australia, featuring more than 500 ski trails and 120 properties in almost 30
resorts in the three countries.
To launch the new programme, Ski Express is offering a wide range of Earlybird specials, and bonus offers from free accommodation nights and
ski lessons to discounted rental of ski equipment and cut-price lift tickets.
Land-only prices for seven nights accommodation and a six-day ski pass start at $594 per person, twin share in Canada, $618 in the USA and $838
in Japan, freeing travellers to choose their preferred airline or air fare.
The Ski Express programme features five leading airlines – Air New Zealand, Qantas, Air Canada, United and Japan Air Lines. There are also
stopover and car rental options offered throughout the USA and Canada, in partnership with the car rental companies Alamo and Hertz.
“We’re now in the middle of the southern hemisphere ski season, and Australian enthusiasts are starting to think about their next snow holiday,”
said Melissa Watt, National Sales Manager for Ski Express.
“Our new Northern Hemisphere programme offers an abundance
of options in the best skifields of Canada, the USA and Japan, with accommodation,
pricing and additional activities designed to meet all requirements and suit all budgets.
“These packages are ideal not only for regulars to Northern Hemisphere snowfields but for first time visitors, or for experienced skiers looking to
explore new territory.”
The 2006 – 2007 range also offers the opportunity for travellers to experience non-ski activities, from skating and trekking to dog sled tours.
