Executive airline,
Hong Kong Express, has taken delivery of a new 76-seat Embraer 170 passenger aircraft. The third of four Embraer 170 aircraft
ordered by the airline, this latest addition to the airline’s fleet comes ahead of next week’s launch of its new scheduled service to
Ningbo.
“We are delighted to see our plan to create an expanded network of high frequency connections between Hong Kong and Mainland China being realised so rapidly,”
commented Dr. James Young, Hong Kong Express Commercial Director. “With this new aircraft, people wishing to travel between Hong Kong and Ningbo will now be
able to enjoy the same level of comfort and privacy that passengers on our existing Guangzhou and Hangzhou services have been raving about.”
To celebrate the arrival of the aircraft and the launch of its Ningbo service, Hong Kong Express is offering a free HeliExpress one-way helicopter ticket between Hong
Kong and Macau to all travellers who book a Hong Kong - Ningbo return trip at full published fare before December 31st 2005.
The forthcoming launch of Hong Kong Express’ service between Hong Kong and Ningbo follows the commencement of services between Hong Kong and Hangzhou
just weeks earlier and Hong Kong and Guangzhou in August. The
airline’s fourth Embraer 170 aircraft will be delivered in early 2006.
