recently made two senior executive appointments – Ms. Vicky Cheung as Head of Trade Sales for Asia of Trade Banking Group, and Mr. Joseph
A Uhlir as Senior Director and Team Leader of Financial Institutions Group (FIG) for Mainland China and Hong Kong.
Ms. Vicky Cheung has been named Head of Trade Sales for Asia. In her new role, she is responsible for developing exporter marketing in Asia and expanding trade
business within Asia and between Asia and other regions. Ms. Cheung also takes a leading role in building a medium-term capital goods portfolio within the region.
Ms. Cheung joined American Express Bank in 1992, and has gained extensive experience in the correspondent banking business. Prior to this new appointment, Miss
Cheung was the Senior Director and Team Leader of Financial Institutions Group for Mainland China and Hong Kong.
Mr. Joseph Uhlir has been named Senior Director and Team Leader of Financial Institutions Group (FIG) for China and Hong Kong. He is responsible for overseeing the
Financial Institutions Group business activities in Mainland China and Hong Kong. Mr Uhlir joined American Express Bank in 2000 as the Senior Director and Team
Leader of the Bank’s FIG for UK, Ireland, the Nordic countries and Israel.
Before joining American Express Bank, Mr Uhlir was the Assistant Vice President and Regional Manager for Key Bank National Association, a reputable regional US
bank.
