The Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation is
to host the Asia Pacific Aviation Outlook Summit 2006 conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 5-6 December 2005.
The annual Summit is a high level review of the major challenges and opportunities facing the Asia Pacific and Middle East airport, airline and tourism markets in the year
ahead, with projections and strategic plans directly from the senior executives of major aviation organisations, as well as top level government officials and Ministers.
According to The Centre’s Managing Director, Peter Harbison, “Kuala Lumpur was selected due to the strong local support for attracting industry benchmark events
and its importance as a regional aviation hub. Senior executives will be giving their views on the key success factor for 2005 and the drivers for success again in 2006,
including the major strategic opportunities and challenges for the industry and government”.
The Summit will also feature the Annual CAPA Asia Pacific Awards for Excellence, to be presented at a Gala Dinner on 5 December.
The Centre will be conducting a sponsor roadshow in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur on 27-30 September for industry to hear more about the event, the programme and
sponsorship opportunities.
