International today opened its fourth office in the People’s Republic of China in
Shenzhen.
“China has been identified as the driving engine fueling the region’s travel growth and Abacus is looking forward to helping meet the unique needs of China’s travel
industry and customers to make the most of the opportunities ahead,” Mr Lai said. “With additional air routes now opening up and the frequencies of carriers constantly
on the increase, both the outbound and inbound travel to China has already begun to stimulate and drive this anticipated growth around the region.”
According to China Travel Service, by 2020, China is expected to be the world’s number one destination with an estimated 100 million tourists visiting each year.
Abacus has been established in China since 1988 and to date, already has offices across three cities in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
