British Airways and Qantas launch 'Best of Australia' Deals in Singapore

British Airways and Qantas in Singapore have re-launched their ‘Best of Australia’ promotion.

Offering some of the best land packages to Australia from 12 January 2005 till end August 2005, the ‘Best of Australia’ promotion starts from S$408 per person and includes three nights accommodation, daily breakfast and a choice of one tour option. In addition, the first 500 bookings get a free S$300 hotel voucher per adult couple for future travel when they purchase their air ticket on Qantas and British Airways with a VISA card.

“With the ‘Best of Australia’ promotion, Qantas and British Airways offers flexible land packages at affordable prices to suite all interests,” said Steve Limbrick, regional general manager for Qantas and British Airways South East Asia. “By working in partnership with the Australian State Tourism offices and a consortium of travel agencies in Singapore, Qantas and British Airways, together with Visa International, offer Singaporeans a large variety of holiday experiences Down Under to choose from.”

The ‘Best of Australia’ promotion has a land package for everyone. Enjoy the best of Australia’s city and country at the same time in Queensland’s Cairns with a 5D/4N ‘Best of Cairns City and Country’ land package from just S$408 per person. In addition, stay at Freestyle Resort in Port Douglas and be pampered even further with a complimentary bucket of prawns or plate of oysters, plus champagne.

For those who want a romantic relaxing getaway, the 4D/3N Good Life package in South Australia, Adelaide starts from S$468 per person, while adventure seekers can choose the ‘Adventure’ land package in the Northern Territory from S$398 per person. Alternatively, for thrill seekers, get around Sydney with the ‘Best of Sydney’s City and Country’ land package from just S$498 per person. Enjoy ‘Best of Melbourne’s City and Country’ land package from just S$458 per person.

In conjunction with the ‘Best of Australia’ land packages, Qantas and British Airways are offering special bargains for fares to its popular Australian destinations. From now till January 17, 2005, the airlines have teamed up with VISA to offer their cardholders round-trip economy class tickets to Australia from S$398 to Perth and S$618 to Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns, Darwin, Melbourne or Sydney. Payment must be made exclusively with VISA. Travellers can also add on another Australia domestic destination at just S$80 per sector.
