'Barefoot at Oasis' resumes at Mandarin Oriental, Miami

Barefoot at Oasis is returning for its second season as one of Miami's hottest Friday night spots, with sultry music by popular Miami DJ Mark Levanthal.

Beginning today, Friday, 11 November, and open every Friday night through May 2006, Barefoot at Oasis will be open from 6 pm to 11 pm allowing guests to sip signature cocktails including Sunset Martini and Mandarin Bliss at the waters edge while lounging on comfy daybeds.

Chic beach butlers will be on hand to check-in shoes at the door letting guests relax, unwind and walk barefoot on the powdery sand. A delectable menu of Chinese Dim Sum and other Asian specialties prepared by the hotels award-winning chefs will also be available.

Mark Levanthal, the sought after club DJ, will bring his brand of high energy music to guests wanting to enjoy the hippest sights and sounds.

For a truly VIP experience, guests can reserve the Oasis Cabana, situated in an exclusive area on the beach. A personal beach butler will customize the guests experience to suit any taste from a private bar stocked with vintage champagnes and premium spirits to a lavish display of culinary delights. Guests can savor their favorite libation and lounge the night away with their closest friends.

In keeping with Mandarin Orientals Asian roots, the private beach is decorated with authentic oriental-style furnishings exotic beds with colorful cushions and canopies with rich Thai materials and fabrics.

Barefoot at Oasis is located at Mandarin Oriental, Miami, 500 Brickell Key Drive. There is no cover charge and attire is from Beach to Boardroom.
