The Arabian Travel Market, held annually in Dubai, is one of the most enjoyable and lucrative travel trade shows and exhibitions anywhere in the world. Since it started each year has grown bigger and better and will continue to do so for many years to come as the mystical destinations of the Middle East open themselves up to tourism. Not only is inbound tourism to the Middle East region growing but so is outbound and many operators in Asia and other parts of the world are slowly beginning to realise the full potential of this almost virgin market. That potential is enormous.

The pictures below are mainly of the Arabian Travel Market 2002 which was not only a tremendous success but a joy to attend. The three 'icey blue' pictures you will see below were taken at a function held by the Fairmont Dubai Hotel which had only recently opened. The entire ballroom had been decked out in ice, with food offered from every part of the world which houses a Fairmont property. This function was without a doubt one of the most breathtaking and enjoyable functions we have ever attended in any hotel, anywhere in the world, and that alone speaks volumes for the creative genius this hotel offers anyone considering holding a function at the property.

We attend the Arabian Travel Market annually as should you if you are interested in the Middle Eastern markets, and so more pictures will be coming of future events.
